Bases: Bases on the field can now have special effects, all of which can give you the upper hand in battle, for a list of the bases please refer to this link: Special Bases. Induced Explosion: Whenever you shot down a mobile suit it will cause a pink explosion, the explosion will damage any other grunt around it, the more shot downs you do at once the more you could destroy just from the induced explosions. Emergency Dash: By pressing at the right moment you can dash away from an incoming attack and avoid damage. HP Regeneration: You now have time to recover a certain amount of the damage you take in battle, the HP you are able to recover will be indicated in purple. Morale Respawn: You will now be able to be shot down and come back to the field depending on the amount of morale gauge you have, this may not be needed until the harder missions. Partner Strikes: Partner Strikes are assist takes by the partner you have assigned to your point, when your PS gauge on the right is filled up you can press to perform the partner strike, there are different types of partner strikes you just have to use them all and find out. Heres a quick run through of all the new features to this version of the game that you might want to keep in mind as they may be very helpful in tougher missions: Seiei in the 00 Raiser and then next with Amuro Ray in the Nu Gundam afterwards you will be available to start the regular Story mode. When you select "New Game" you will go through a opening cinematic and then you will start 2 tutorial missions one with Setsuna F. The only thing that really makes this game a 7/10 is the amount of time it takes to raise your relations and unlock certain collection missions and then the dreadful last mission of the game. In the previous game there was alot of hassle in getting the "All Missions Cleared" achievement, having to have SPECIFIC friendship statuses with other pilots however all that as changed which as made the difficulty relatively easier.
